The Word

but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

-Isaiah 40:31

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air
There's a feeling
of Christmas
Children laughing
People passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on ev'ry street corner you'll hear

Silver bells, silver bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas day...

I just love the season. Ok. So sadly we do not have a proper season since Singapore has yet to be hit by a snowstorm (and never will be), but we can still celebrate and enjoy, can't we?

Christmas shopping. Unless you are going to go stereotype, it gets pretty stressful and tiring. Taz and I were out and walking all over one end of Orchard (Ngee Ann, Cineleisure, Wisma etc.) searching for presents. I had 11 people to shop for; she had about 8 or 9. Since we both were a little low on budget (Mum allowed me $12 or less for best friends; and $10 or less for school friends), and since taz and I both know the best friends, we decided to share presents. It was a good idea: We ended getting more than one present per person =D. Don't worry, I got the school friends some really nice stuff as well.

However, we still haven't finished shopping. We have to get one more present each for two people within the budget left for that person (literally each person gets presents worth $22 or less). So yeah, will be going shopping again today.

You will not believe what my uncle got me for Christmas. I won't say it yet, but I'll give a hint: It inspired me to write another song. Heh heh. For now, I'll probably only show this song to best friends and school friends first. But I think it's an improvement from the stuff I used to scribble. My previous song was a heartbreaker. Seriously.
