Day one of hanging out in Singapore after exams. Today's person to hang out with: My xiaomei, Tazia. Hee.
I know I told xiaomei and my jedi master that I was going to sleep early. I'm so sorry. I lied unintentionally, cause I ended up staying up till midnight watching episodes of One Tree Hill on DVD. But hey, I still got up in time for my "training" at 8am. Haha.
Taz and I met at City Hall interchange at 10.30am. While I was on the train there, there was some creepy old woman who was standing super close to me and kept on staring at me. Then when I leaned against the glass plane (you know, the kind they put next to the seat's that are right next to the door?), she came up and stretched her hand in front of me to balance herself by pushing against the glass plane. Freaky.
I managed to buy my brother's birthday present. Joy. It was the last one left in the store too. Thank goodness. He'd better like it. It cost me quite a bit. And I'm also super satisfied because I was able to purchase two mangas, each priced at less than $10. Save money. Another good thing was that the latest issue of my less-than-$20 manga is not out yet so I did not need to worry about overspending.
I know I said that I'd come up with a list of things to do this holiday. I did not manage to get down to it while I was in KL. Gag me. Too much shopping, eating, playing PS2 and watching movies.
I shall go finish my manga, which will probably end with a cliff-hanger, and then sit in desperate curiosity with the "what-the-hell-is-going-to-happen-next-stupid-manga- takes-such-a-long-time-to-come" look on my face.
Before I attack the One Tree Hill again.
I finally got what I really needed after studying so much for exams - Retail Therapy
Total purchases: 1. Two topshop polo blouses 2. One esprit double set tanktop and spaghetti-strap 3. Two esprit tank tops 4. Two pairs of Romp jeans 5. Quite a number of movies 6. Flame of Recca DVD set 7. White weaved belt from Spade
Along with the therapy, came another therapy - Bonding with my younger cousin, Rachel. I must say, I did not think we'd be able to communicate as much. But actually, Rachel is quite sweet. We talked quite a lot, shopped together, watched movies together. No arguements whatever. Thank Goodness for that.
