Valerie Anne Lim is finally back in the game!!!

And if you're wondering what I'm talking about: I have finally got back on my feet and started dancing again. My mum has signed me up for a term at Attitude Performing Arts Studio doing HipHop.

So my family actually made it to the 9am service early today. Thank you mummy dearest for being able to get out of bed. Haha. Though last week's was more fun since it was about youth, this week's sermon was quite interesting as well. The main focus was on "Though we are many, we are one body, because we all share in one bread"

And for those of you non-christians out there, try googling for an online bible and search for Romans 12. It's a good verse to match.

My awesome godfamily were unable to get out of bed this morning for their own 8.30am church service, and thus ended up at St. Andrew's Cathedral New Sanctuary. I was so surprised to see them! Little pipsquek Alex in his football jersey and france cap. Quote from Matthew Crawshaw: "So Cute!" Haha.

I got a chance to talk to Matthew Crawshaw a bit today. He told me the tale of how he spent a whole day in the library and only managed to finish one essay. Poor guy, busy mugging for A's. Jia you, dude!! You can do it. Haha. If you can run an entire easter play, you can definitely kick butt in your exams!

I went with my family for breakfast today instead of the lync people, which is cool by me, cause I think sundays should be meant for families unless they chase you away... which is what my parents did last weekend. Anyway, we went to Raffles City to eat dim sum with my godfamily. Yumz. That's all I have to say about there.

When we got home, mum and I tried to go on our "Gilmore Girl" roll once again, but since I had promised to help my younger brother film his short film project, thus I was sadly unable to watch much. I did manage to finish one episode, since I had watched half of it last night and I just needed to clear the other half during the hour I had before going to Bukit Timah Plaza.

I was so nervous! I was probably acting like stage-fright singer on her first performance. Ouch. I guess I was scared that I would not be able to keep up with the class because I haven't been dancing for quite a while, besides the easter play and those dances I learned from Jump5 and High School Musical that I do on my own at home, but yeah, I was quite rusty.

The class turned out quite ok. I realised that some of the other girls there were pretty rusty too, so that saved me a bit. Sadly though, I kept on losing my concentration during the middle of the dances, but luckily I could catch up. Haha. My new instructor's name is Dandy, and yes, it's a guy. He's quite cool though, he's got this kind of look that resembles one of our very well-known singaporean actors who always acts on those family shows like "Holland V", "Happy Fish" and "Portrait of Home".

So I am proud to say that I am back in the dancing scene. Haha. Thankfully I could keep up with the class. I spoke to my instructor after the class and he said that I was quite good for a first class (yay! =D) and that he could tell that I had some dance background.
