but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Till this point, I am still amazed at how amazing God is, and simply awed at how he is working in my life.

Honestly, I feel really blur here, because I do not realise the Holy Spirit moving in me until events have happened. Oops. But I thank God for my gift and for using me.

I just got to learn to live according to his timing. To have that patience, that good atttitude when dealing with situations.

And onto other news...

Joy's birthday surprise last friday was a complete success. Ever heard of a person that got 3 surprises in a row? Ha! We started off with the morning surprise where we literally kicked everybody out of bed early and rushed them to the dining hall. Deva set Joy's clock (both laptop and phone and watch) back by an hour, such that she thought she was coming down for breakfast late. Her expression when she walked into the dining hall seeing a whole group of half-dead palmies there was PRICELESS. Her cake was a stack of chocolate muffins and cupcakes, decorated with chocolate bars. xD. Our Joy LOVES her chocolate.

Funny thing though (Tiffany's evil idea) - Magic relighting candles. The flames on her candles started to produce sparks and all of us were like, "Uh oh...". So when Joy questioned it, we just shrugged and said, "nothing". Lol. Poor girl spent so much time blowing out the candles; in the end, we had to dig them out of the cakes, almost burning our fingers, and dump them in water.

Surprise #2 came later that night. Deva, as well as the rest of the palmies, lied to Joy that we were going to watch Iron Man at Crown. When we reached Flinders station, we blindfolded her with a scarf. I must say, I'm quite impressed by the fact that Joy didn't scream when she was blindfolded, but just stood still and asked, "Uh.... what's going on????" Hee.

The journey there was SO FUNNY. Some passers-by were amused with the scene and decided to play along by shouting things like, "YOU'RE LOST!" or "Welcome to the Casino."

After making poor attempts to lie to her about where we were going, we finally made it to Joy's birthday present from Block 5 - Laser Skirmish. Oh mans, it was so fun. Even though I was pretty noob for the first round, but hey, I improved in the next two rounds! ^.^

Then came our third surprise - Tiffany had stayed behind to prepare Joy and Deva's room for our 'girly night'. When we came back, we got Joy distracted while the rest of us hurried upstairs to get ready for the final surprise. When Joy walked in, her room was officially decorated with streamers and balloons, and she had an awesome chocolate brunetti's cake waiting for her. xD. Then we just chatted the night away.

Can you say awesome? Haha.
