The Word

but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

-Isaiah 40:31

Yesterday's Daily Bread had a sentence that really spoke a lot of meaning and truth:

There is no failure more disastrous than the success that leaves God out.

Something I really need to learn sometimes, especially when it comes to work. I tend to strive so hard to achieve, that I forget that God is always here with me. =)

Sugapop Popping Workshop

Was loads of fun. Though because I haven't really learnt proper popping technique or some of the old school hip hop techniques he taught, I was a bit off but I caught onto after a while. I learnt the egyptian tutt, twister flex and i think it was called a slow walk? Can't remember but oh well.

Oh man but I really need to work on my waving; not the arm one but the kind that seems to make your body rotate on an axis... if that's the correct way to say it.

Oh but the story of how I got to the popping workshop was awesome - Basically I was supposed to go for the one on saturday but it clashed with my dance rehearsals. Then God asked, "Is your talent to glorify me or for your own glory?"

Definitely for God's glory.

So I went for my planetuni auditions and tried to forget about the popping workshop. Thank you to my mummy and daddy who were so understanding and awesome about the money paid. After rehearsals, which was about 3pm, I received a voicemail from the guy who had organised the workshop. Here's the awesome part: He offerred to switch me to sunday's class! =D How cool is that? And when I asked him about the level of difficulty, he said it would be about the same.
