'Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day.' -2 Corinthians 4:16
These past few days have been physically and mentally exhausting with all the consecutive dance rehearsals. Many of us are tired and aching and pulling up our last bit of energy with each rehearsal.
But like it was told in Corinthians, though we may be wearing down our physical bodies, our spirits are being renewed and refreshed each day through ministry. With each rehearsal, we draw closer to God and become more aware of what His purpose for us dancing is. We are God's vessels here, and we will not let this exhaustion get to us; Dance for God's glory. It will all be worth it.
And we have a promise from God that with obedience comes blessings, comes a harvest that we have so worked hard on sowing, so long as we obey.
Yay for Daddy God. For giving me this talent and using me do carry out His will.
After rehearsals, Jon Tan, Carmen, Debs, Kern, Daniel, Jane, WeiYing and I went to South Lawn in Melbourne University.... because WeiXiong had called us there. Lol. Well, Debs and Jane managed to escape from it, but we had some fun shooting one of weixiong's latest TwoFrontTeeth productions. Do check his blog for updates and you'll see something really retarted and crazy and funny. xD
By the time we were done, it was almost 4. I followed Weiying and Carmen back to Carmen's place - Her house is so niceee. A very lovely place to stay. We watched the first bit of 10 Things I Hate About You before we had to head to Albert House for our UrbanLife Dinner.
Well, it was supposed to be a BBQ, but somehow Albert House ended up cooking the food, so it became a dinner instead. It was all right. I have been re-introduced to Chermaine. Zomg. The last time I talked to her was Orientation Day, Feb 14 2008. Mainly because we stayed in different housings and had different subject combinations and were not in the same OG if I remember correctly. It was so awesome to get to chat with her again. =D. Oh, and Kai Yi is just awesome and loads of fun to talk to.
It was really cool to see Liwen again, it felt like I haven't seen her in ages >.<
I went home after dinner that night and more or less just crashed. That is, after finishing up 10 things I hate About You. xD
